The RSCDS Edinburgh young dancers classes offer children the chance to enjoy Scottish country dancing and ceilidh music in a fun environment!
About Dance Scottish! Children’s Dance Classes on Saturday mornings
Our young Dancers enjoy lots of fun at their classes.
Our regular Saturday morning Children's classes continue in 2024 and restarts on Saturday 13 January:
13 January to 23 March except 10 & 17 February (9 weeks)
P1 and above - 9:30am - 10:15am:
Our youngest dancers (P1 and above) learn music, rhythm and movement, offering children the chance to enjoy Scottish country dancing and ceilidh music in a fun environment, meeting new friends and learning the basic shapes of formations and some fun easy dances.
P5 and above: 10:15am - 11:00am:
Leading on from this our older group (P5 and above), develop their steps and formations while continuing to expand their knowledge of dances.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
