This course is for complete beginners and will give you a comprehensive introduction to self defence, including:
- Understanding different types of violence and how to spot the danger signs,
- boundary management,
- legal and ethical considerations,
- the aftermath of violence
- And, of course, simple and practical physical skills to defend and break away from an aggressor when you have no other options. This includes dealing with strikes, grabs, and defending when you are on the ground.
Open for ages 16 and up, all fitness levels. No equipment needed.
There is a lot of room to adapt the intensity to suit your needs.
If you have any concerns about physical limitations and whether the training will still be suitable, don't hesitate to get in touch. Self defence is meant to work for you, with the body that you have!
