We are an independent art school located right by the sea, in the coastal village of Cockenzie, East Lothian (around a 30 minute drive from Edinburgh). We are also directly on the number 26 bus route from Edinburgh City Centre.

We offer high quality teaching by professional Artists to small groups of students (maximum of 10 students per class), from beginners to established professional Artists.

We run a variety of art courses over differing timescales, to suit all ability levels and help participants find the best path for their own work. We also provide a personal and supportive approach to learning.

From Weekend Workshops and Short Courses, to Full Year Courses including a Professional Development Course and much more, we offer plenty of exciting options to inspire creativity and individual artistic development!

We have two fully equipped large studios with beautiful garden and coastal surroundings, offering the perfect environment for artists to push their artwork to the next level.
