A writing workshop particularly aimed at care-givers, the care-experienced, those working in the caring industries and indeed anyone keen to explore their relationship with others.
About Who Cares?
Poetry reminds us what it is to be human, and more importantly, humane. It creates a haven for those who care. In a mutually supportive atmosphere, poet John Glenday will share existing poems and discuss how to approach writing your own. Using tools and tips, you will write a poem that reflects your experience of caring in a world that often overlooks kindness as a force for change.
This workshop is particularly aimed at care-givers, the care-experienced, those working in the caring industries and indeed anyone keen to explore their relationship with others. No previous experience of writing poetry is necessary. Just bring enthusiasm and a desire to communicate. The finest poetry is often the most simple and direct.
