About Draw Me a Story: Storytelling, Illustration and Creative Play
Join Georgia Cowley to rediscover your inner child's love for creativity and imagination, exploring how to create characters, build settings, experiment with materials and uncover the visual language of storytelling - all in a relaxed, inclusive atmosphere suitable for all levels of experience.
Participants will explore fun and exploratory activities, designed to guide them through the process of discovering their creative strengths as storytellers and what brings them joy in their creative process. In the last few weeks of the programme, participants will work on their own short narrative project, devised from the work throughout the class, which they may want to use as a basis for an ongoing portfolio.
Participants should bring their own sketchbook. Additional paper will be provided.
