Thread Embroidery Workshop
Learn introductory hand embroidery stitches with textile designer, Chloe Patience on this workshop at Dovecot Studios on 7th June.
About Thread Embroidery Workshop
Using traditional hand stitches, you will learn the basics of embroidery and use contemporary, colourful and tactile effects to create an embroidered sampler.
Stitched coverd in the workshop will include:
Chain
Whipped
Satin
Long and short
Jacobean couching
Couching
Amish plush-work
This workshop is aimed at beginners or intermediate hand stitchers looking to refresh skills and approaches. The workshop is full of different approaches to hand embroidery which you can continue to use in your developing embroidery work.
