About Jewellery Class - Make a set of stacking rings with a gemstone
Join me in my Edinburgh studio to make a set of stacking rings, including one ring with a pretty gemstone. This jewellery making class is aimed at complete beginners who have never made any jewellery before. Each workshop has a maximum of 4 participants ensuring I can give everyone plenty individual instruction.
During the ring class I will cover:
- how to size your fingers
- shaping and forming the ring
- sawing to create the perfect join
- soldering
- adding a premade bezel setting
- setting a gemstone
- filing and sanding for a beautiful finish
- adding texture
- polishing
The price includes the sterling silver and one gemstone required to make 3 silver rings. We will have a tea and coffee break and some yummy homemade cake.
