This is a day to invest in yourself by unwinding, connecting and re-charging. We will use a soothing blend of mindfulness, movement, breath and sound healing practices to help rebalance mind & body, cultivate self compassion and boost your energy.
Compassion is the recognition of our own suffering and that of others with a deep commitment to alleviate that suffering.
Self Compassion is widely acknowledged, as the cornerstone of human health and becoming our best. Without it, we can sometimes be self critical, ignore our needs and prioritise others and other life activity, which can lead us towards burn out, emotional distress and health challenges.
Mindfulness, as a practice, creates the conditions for a calm and present mind, which can make compassion more accessible. Once cultivated, it can help us to learn how to look after ourselves well, become more sensitive to our difficulties, tolerant and accepting of our feelings, understanding and non-judgmental. With regular practice, we can develop an inner environment of warmth and kindness that benefits ourselves and all those around us.
