Every Wednesday from May 3 to July 19, join theatre maker Jill McKirdy for a relaxed, supportive and fun creative writing class.
Just like an actor explores a new character, you will use different writing prompts and creative stimuli to investigate all the things that make you uniquely you.
From poetry to prose, fiction to factual, magical to biographical - you will have the opportunity to try out a variety of different storytelling styles.
Suitable for complete beginners, with no pressure to share your creations, classes are intended to support you creatively expressing yourself and celbratign who you are.
Each week participants will add their creations to their 'character diary', a keepsake filled with all their stories, reflections, and memories.
Note: Please enter through the side door at 2 Gilmore Park, EH3 9FN for this evening class.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
