Orchestra of the Canongait
Conductor Robert Dick
Soloist Madeleine Mitchell, Violin
Weber Der Freischütz Overture Mendelssohn Violin Concerto
-interval-
Beethoven Symphony No. 3 ‘Eroica’
This return engagement follows these artists’ highly praised sell-out concert previously, reviewed by Bachtrack “Madeleine Mitchell gave a performance of the Bruch Violin Concerto that seemed powered by an almost daemonic intensity – totally bewitching. She has a full rich tone that sang strongly through the large church acoustic”.
