Join me for a crafty evening making your own Book Log, featuring a Japanese stab zig zag stitch, mini pamphlet stitch book (for noting down recommended reads) and a nifty ‘library book inspired’ pocket.
If you’re an avid reader, part of a book group or looking for a fun way to keep note of the books you have read, this one’s for you!
Included in the workshop is a series of specially designed and RISO printed journal pages to include in your book, alongside a mix of remnant papers you can collage together to create a personalised front cover.
This is a great opportunity to make something fabulous and functional in the company of other book lovers, while learning a nifty bookbinding stitch that can also be used to create notebooks and Artists Books.
Your nifty Book Log will have room for 12 book reviews so if you want to kick 2026 with a commitment to reading more books, this could be a handy companion for you!
Following the workshop you will get access to video instructions for a reminder of the stitch and a Book Log materials kit that you can use to create a second book to either use yourself or gift to the book lover in your life.
Tea, coffee and sweet treats included. Please feel free to bring along something more substantial to eat if coming straight from work.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
