We will have a bit of festive spirit and mulled wine on Saturday, December 7th, between 1 and 3pm. Everybody is welcome - no RSVP is necessary.
This year’s exhibition features watercolours by Stephen Redpath, an expressive painter from Tarland in rural Aberdeenshire. His work explores the relationship between landscape and emotion. He draws inspiration from the wild, multi-layered landscapes of northern Scotland, where be builds on direct observation, memories and emotional responses. Another artist showing for the first time with the gallery is Paul Kirkwood. His two mixed media works titled 'Blue Sails' and 'Blue Sails 2' combine print-making and collage.
For those seeking unique and thoughtful gifts, the exhibition offers a treasure trove of ceramics from six makers - Gill McMillan, Hanna Salomonnson, Carol Sinclair, Steve Smith, Janie Ramsay, and Leonie Rutter with prices ranging from £30 to £300. From charming small pieces to statement works, there’s something to suit every taste and occasion. The stained glass flowers by Samantha Yates adds an extra sparkle.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
