The second installment of this exciting group exhibition is to be unveiled this September 20th 2024. This will run for two weekends (21st and 22nd, 28th and 29th September) at Coburg House Studios in Leith, featuring five talented, Edinburgh-based artists working across jewellery, fine art and illustration.
This exhibition follows on from last year’s successful group show Parallels, where artists Anna Gormezano Marks, Fiona Luing, Jenni Colquhoun, Sarah Kwan and Solii Brodie came together to showcase their bodies of work from one meeting point five years previously to their present day. Come along to support their fabulous work: where are they now, one year later?
The artists are delighted for this opportunity to present their work and hope that you will come to Coburg House and join them in celebrating on the opening night! With original work and merchandise on sale throughout the exhibition. Coburg House Studios are renowned for platforming independent artists and makers, with in-house gallery space and shop run by the artists themselves. In an era where arts funding is constantly under threat your support for artists and makers is all the more appreciated.
From beautiful handmade silver jewellery, to modern fine art drawing and colourful painting and illustration - there will be plenty to choose from at this showcase. Plus, whet your whistle with wonderful drinks sponsors and raise a glass with the makers - there will be art and refreshments to suit everyone’s palate.
