DalkeithPhoto is an exciting season of photography at Dalkeith Palace from 8th September to 6th October 2024.
The event will commence with a symposium on 07 September featuring a cast of expert speakers who will celebrate and explore the art of photography through engaging presentations and conversations.
DalkeithPhoto will play host to an exciting programme of exhibitions. Running simultaneously every Friday to Sunday visitors have the chance to view these four spectacular exhibitions all within Dalkeith Palace.
Visitors can also explore the wonderful world of photography through expert-led practical workshops. Whether you are a curious learner, a professional or an amateur, join our experts for these exciting events and take away something unique. DalkeithPhoto Workshops include Cyanotype with Angela Chalmers, Carbon Printing Demonstration with David Chalmers, Salt Printing Demonstration with Gregg McNeill and Tintypes with Gregg McNeill.
For the duration of the exhibition you have the opportunity to sit down with an expert during DalkeithPhoto for an in-depth and personal portfolio review.
Reviewers will provide feedback and critical support for print or digital portfolios in 20 minute sessions. Available on selected Sundays throughout the exhibition with a host of photography experts.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
