Every week, trained Macmillan Volunteers offer a friendly listening ear to anyone affected by cancer, including those with a cancer diagnosis, as well as family and friends.
Our Macmillan areas in Portobello, Oxgangs, Drumbrae, Craigmillar, Leith and Morningside Libraries offer a cosy, informal environment to talk over a cup of tea or coffee.
Our Volunteers can also refer individuals to local services, including benefits advise, fit for health physical activities programmes, buddy services, complementary therapies and help for carers.
Out with our drop in times, please feel free to browse and take away any of our Macmillan booklets from our extensive range.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
