Affectionately known as ‘HiiD’, the annual event brings together survivors, their families, care professionals and even tech companies with the purpose of sharing knowledge, providing access to treatment and networking with equally passionate people.
Since 2011 the HiiD – which has always been completely free of charge – has seen its following grow from a few dozen to more than 500 and it is now set to mark its 14 year.
Each year attendees enjoy guest speakers, exhibits and proactive workshops focused on bridging the gaps that can sometimes leave survivors of acquired brain injuries (ABIs) feeling isolated.
The HiiD in Edinburgh is organised and hosted by Digby Brown Solicitors whose award-winning serious injury solicitors are passionate about giving back, bringing people together and improving people’s lives in a holistic and life-affirming way.
For more information on the free 2024 event at the O2 Academy (previously known as the Corn Exchange) please visit the dedicated advice page - www.hiid.org.uk/hiid-2024-edinburgh
