Out East Festival

About Out East Festival

A festival experience like no other, Out East will curate a line-up celebrating the country’s diverse arts offering as festival fans discover the very best in music, comedy, dance, wellbeing and more, whilst enjoying Scotland’s finest street food and drink. The 2-day festival takes place in the heart of Dalkeith Country Park, a picturesque festival site just 5 miles from Edinburgh’s city centre with the option to camp in luxury Yurts, making it the perfect escape for a weekend of adventure and discovery this summer.

The fun-loving festival will host an eclectic music line-up featuring rising stars and icons from the worlds of disco, hip hop, indie, electronica, funk & soul and world music, from Faithless’ epic DJ set to Callum Beattie’s soulful songwriting or Ministry of Sound’s orchestra led anthems.

The latest wave of acts join previously announced Sunday night headliners Ministry of Sound Classical for dance anthems like you’ve never heard before, complete with a 50-piece orchestra in the heart of Dalkeith Country Park. Icons Sister Sledge will keep the whole family disco dancing, while electronic legends Faithless will entertain the crowds with an unforgettable headline DJ set. Pioneering DJ Goldie and Manchester’s own Mr Scruff join the bill, in addition to The Cuban Brothers, LTJ Bukem, Altern-8, Greg Wilson, Fleetmac Wood, Colonel Mustars and the Dijon 5, Orchards, Jesse Rae, Callum Beattie, Rebecca Vasmant and many more.
