St James Quarter announces year long partnership with Children First
St James Quarter, Edinburgh’s leading retail and lifestyle destination, has today announced a new 12-month charity partnership with Children First, Scotland’s national children’s charity.

The partnership will see St James Quarter shine a spotlight on the vital work Children First does to protect and support children and families across Scotland, while also raising essential funds through a programme of community-led initiatives.
The first fundraising activity, St James Quarter Book Drop, will launch in support of Zero Waste Week and run throughout September (from 1st to 29th). Guests are invited to donate pre-loved books via the Guest Services Lounge, located on Level 1 of the Galleria. In collaboration with NWH Group, all books collected will go towards supporting Children First and promoting literacy, education, and a love of reading within the local community.
Founded on the belief that every child deserves a safe and happy childhood, Children First works tirelessly to protect children from harm and to help them recover from trauma and abuse. The charity provides practical, emotional, and financial support to families, helping to give children a brighter future.
