Yoga is an esoteric path of absolute and total love and consciousness that leads to the complete and profound freedom of the being!
The purpose of Soma Yoga Scotland is to help you discover the blissful experience that life can be when, through the practice of yoga, you become more conscious and more present in every moment of your life. Through the practice of Ecstatic Yoga, your heart gradually fills up with love and your consciousness expands as to gradually encompass all of its surroundings into a blissful and ecstatic experience of life!
Our approach to the practice of Yoga is a more holistic one, we would say. Everything is presented in such a way as to help you discover how the healthy principles of life promoted by the genuine classical tradition of yoga can actually be applied to our daily western life in order to help us regain our inner peace, harmony and balance together with a better health of our physical body, as well. Becoming able to find this fine balance between the calls of the heart and soul and the necessities of the super busy daily life, will indeed trigger blissful and ecstatic states in everyone’s life.
Soma Yoga Scotland makes your heart blossom with Love and Joy!
We are running classes throughout the week:
Monday 5-6pm Yin/Yang Yoga (drop-in)
Monday 6-8pm Ecstatic yoga course
Tuesday 6-7pm Angels and Yoga (drop-in)
Tuesday 7-9pm Shakti course (women only)
Thursday 8-9am Sun salutation and Morning Yoga FREE
Friday 5-6:30pm Yoga with Love (drop-in)
Fridays 7-9pm Ecstatic yoga course - new group
Drop-in classes are an opportunity for everyone to find out more about Yoga and practice as part of a group. No previous experience necessary as the teacher will guide you through the poses. These classes are purely practical without any theory.
Ongoing courses build up your knowledge of practice and theory week-by-week. Our Ecstatic Yoga class is open to all. The Tantra tradition teaches about the concept of polarity: the masculine, solar, emissive aspect is consciousness; the feminine, lunar, receptive aspect is energy. Dive deeper into your own polarity with our Vira and Shakti classes.
Monthly online course: known as the highest form of Tantra, Kashmir Shaivism teaches us to see the divine in everything. This course is mostly theoretical with some deep meditation for awakening the soul and going deeper even into Self- Realisation.
