Each month in the beautiful and historic Abbey Strand Centre, Community Connections will explore themes from across the Royal Collection and the history of the Palace of Holyroodhouse, led by Fiona Johnston, Communities and Access Lead.
These sessions are designed for a local audience to have a positive impact on loneliness, social connections, and wellbeing and mental health.
Wednesday 14 January 2026 - History of the Palace of Holyroodhouse
Wednesday 11 February 2026 - An introduction to the Royal Collection
Wednesday 11 March 2026 - History of Holyrood Abbey and the Physic Garden
Wednesday 8 April 2026 - Queen Victoria: Romantic Scotland
