Talk and book signing with Nina Six

About Talk and book signing with Nina Six

Born in 1998 in Orléans, Nina Six has lived in Belgium for almost ten years. Her narrative practice is based on personal and historical archives. A graduate of the Saint-Luc Institute in Tournai and the ERG in Brussels, she has been working on various comic book and illustration projects since 2021. Her work as an author requires her to be attentive to the sensitive, to the living; to the changing world with which she composes. Her stories come alive thanks to the tensions that fuel different themes addressed in her stories. After two comic books with Sarbacane: Les Pissenlits, for which she received the Prix Bologna Ragazzi Comics Award 2024 Middle Grade, and La Mousse, Nina Six made her first steps in children’s albums with Monsieur Bigounia and in novels with the series Les Petites Sorcières, in the Pocus collection.

Nina Six will visit the Institut français d’Écosse to discuss her work and sign copies of her graphic novels. An exhibition featuring her album will run from 29 October to 23 November.
