"A triumph of nonsense." - The Times

Come along and meet Gary Panton and Dotty Sutton, the author and illustrator duo behind the hit children's book The Notwitches and its brand new sequel, The Notwitches: Prison Break.

Hear author Gary read a short section from the new book, before illustrator Dotty leads an interactive draw-along for kids and adults alike to join in with. Discover how Dotty draws the characters from the books, and have a go yourself!

There will also be a Q&A with Gary and Dotty, followed by a signing for anyone who would like to buy the books.

Please note this is a ticketed event, with tickets available from the Waterstones Fort Kinnaird website.

Praise for The Notwitches:

"A madcap adventure, perfect for young readers growing in confidence." - The Scotsman

"A big heart, and the spirit and effervescence of Roald Dahl.” - The Lancashire Evening Post

"I’ve not laughed so hard when reading a book for a very long time!” - Armadillo online magazine

“I’m utterly hooked! I feel 8 years old again – with a great book I can’t put down. It’s funny, it’s moving, the characters have strong voices … a magically marvellous debut for Gary Panton, with spellbinding illustrations by Dotty Sutton.” - Kirsten Allen, book blogger
