Scottish premier of Gaza: A Story of Love and War.
Join Firefly International for an unforgettable screening of Mike Joseph's empathetic and thought provoking film. This documentary is the product of an encounter between two journalists. Mike Joseph is a Welsh Jewish journalist whose mother barely escaped the Holocaust (the rest of her immediate family weren’t so lucky); Sami Abu Salem is a Palestinian reporter living in Gaza, who has lost family, friends and home in the violence inflicted on Palestinians since October 2023.
After the screening, Mike Joseph will lead a Q&A session, offering an opportunity for thought-provoking discussion and deeper insight into the film’s themes.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
