Finisterre Presents: X Trillion - Eventbrite
Join us for a special in-store screening of X Trillion—a powerful, visually striking documentary that follows the all-women eXXpedition crew as they sail 3,000 miles through the Great Pacific Garbage Patch, one of the most polluted areas of our ocean. Led by renowned ocean advocate Emily Penn and directed by award-winning filmmaker Eleanor Church, X Trillion goes far beyond plastic pollution.

About the film:
X Trillion follows the remarkable voyage of an all-women crew led by Emily Penn as they sail 3,000 miles through the densest concentration of ocean plastic on Earth. With a diverse team of scientists, sailors, and changemakers, the film is both a stunning visual journey and a rallying cry for action on plastic pollution.

From battling high seas to conducting cutting-edge microplastics research, this is a story of courage, collaboration, and hope, an unforgettable reminder of what’s at stake and what’s possible.
