This exhibit includes paintings, collages, poetry and a short film with original music which explore grief, childhood and healing. What's special about this exhibit is the heavy emotional charge that the work contains.
The film stars a doll which represents the film maker's inner child. It follows his relationship with the doll, sometimes brutal and sometimes loving. The original music expands on feelings of guilt, anger and disgust with one's self.
The paintings, collages and poems all discuss what it's like to try and better yourself when nothing feels easy. The strength of this exhibit is how vulnerable and emotionally raw it is.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
