The tour explores highlights from the 'Sgeul / Story' exhibition, which celebrates the rich storytelling tradition from the Highlands and Islands during the 19th century.
You will learn about the work of folklorist and story collector John Francis Campbell (1821–1885). There will be a chance to hear one of the traditional stories that he collected.
About the exhibition:
This is a last chance to visit 'Sgeul / Story: Folktales from the Scottish Highlands'. In this exhibition, discover more about story collector John Francis Campbell, and about the oral storytelling tradition in Scotland.
