Monthly in person empathy studies in Edinburgh. Materials and content are based on the work of Marshall B. Rosenberg and the Center for Nonviolent Communication.
Testimonial from the first gathering in September:
“Cathy created a warm and welcoming atmosphere that made me feel at ease. It’s been a great experience to learn more about and practice nonviolent communication in such a safe space. It was one of the best events of its kind I’ve ever attended.” -Nadja
Empathy Cafés offer us space to learn and grow our empathy capacities through NVC principles.
As an Alexander Technique teacher, my approach is very much trauma-informed and embodiment-oriented, based on expertise on nervous system regulation. My aim is to help people to get to needs awareness, to live with met needs.
