Reminding us that poetry is made for the ear, Scottish Makar, Kathleen Jamie, and host, Alistair Heather, join us at Push the Boat Out for a special live recording of The Lantern podcast. They will be talking tradition, mentoring and passing the baton, with their guest, the poet and mentor, Niall Campbell.
The Lantern Scottish Poetry podcast launched earlier this year, each episode featuring high-profile poets from Scotland and the world. Kathleen says, "podcasts and poetry seem a marriage made in heaven. Our podcasts, featuring poetry and discussion, explore our many-faceted literary culture, give space to all our languages, dissolve our geographical challenges, and remind us that poetry is made for the ear".
The session will be recorded by Bespoken Media.
