Clear on Deer is a 30-minute documentary commissioned by the conservation charity, the John Muir Trust. It follows nature presenter Libby Penman’s investigation into what we can do about the unnaturally high numbers of deer that are affecting our landscape, our environment and our contribution towards climate targets.
Follow Libby’s journey across Scotland and hear her talk to landowners, conservationists, animal welfare organisations and rural communities. Find out why our huge deer population is having a destructive impact on the land and ask yourself why we can’t all stop butting heads and do more to protect our environment?
Join us at Summerhall, Edinburgh for a screening of this important film, followed by the chance to ask questions of John Muir Trust staff. You are then invited to stay to hear updates from the Trust. The event will be led by the Trust's Development and Communications Director, Kevin Lelland.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
