Big promises?
Absolutely.
I am a midwife and have been attending births of every variety for almost 20 years and one thing is certain - if you are prepared, educated and practised at being relaxed you are more likely to have a natural birth and to feel positive about your experience no matter what happens.
Fear and stress interfere with birth so strongly that we shouldn't be allowed to birth in a strange place with strangers, bright lights and time limits! This workshop teaches you how to keep fear and stress to a minimum, and how to stay as relaxed and calm as possible.
It will teach you about hypnotherapy and how it works, the physiology of birth, creating your birth environment in home and hospital and why that is so important, the hormones of birth and how they can help or hinder and what to do about it, everything a partner needs to know about support, how to work with the maternity staff and what to do if fear and stress start to take hold.
Venue: Fairbairn House, 1 Court Street, Haddington, EH41 3AF
It includes take home information, 4 downloaded hypnosis birthing tracks to prepare with and a follow-up 1-2-1 closer to the birth in order to review and adjust your preparation to your individual needs.
It works.
It will be the best money you will spend in your birth preparation.
As one of my clients has recently said "it should be compulsory for all birthing couples".
Contact me to discuss further or to book. Often it helps you decide if this is right for you if you have a chat about it.
Early Bird Price £200 (per couple) ends 30 April
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
