The first and the latest documentary films of Oda Kaori are presented in this double bill showcasing the filmmaker’s innovative work. Whereas Thus a Noise Speak explores the depths of Oda’s own sexual identity while experimenting with the form of the “I-film”, Cenote delves deep into the enticing waters of Mexican cenotes (sinkholes scattered through the Yucatan peninsula) where the worlds of the living and dead collide.
