BrewDog has launched a nationwide campaign called Beer Nation - offering free beer, £1 pints, and surprise pop-ups - hitting Edinburgh on Tuesday 5th August!

4th August 2025: BrewDog, the UK’s biggest independent brewer, is gearing up for the freshest celebration of beer the nation has ever seen – and it’s all for the love of beer.

From 31st July to 8th August, BrewDog is hitting the streets in London, Manchester, Birmingham, Glasgow, Edinburgh and Aberdeen with one mission: get fresh beer into as many hands as possible. It’s all part of Beer Nation, a nationwide celebration packed with free beer, £1 pints, and surprise pop-ups, featuring all of BrewDog’s headline acts: Punk IPA, Lost Lager, Hazy Jane and Cold Beer.

On Tuesday 5th August, BrewDog is hitting the streets of Edinburgh - so get yourself to Waverley Station from 12pm till 6pm for free beer!

To keep the good times flowing in-bar, BrewDog bars across the country will also be offering £1 pints of Wingman by signing up online, giving fans the chance to enjoy seriously good beer at a feel-good price. Note, in bars outside of England, it will be £1.59* for a pint - it’d be illegal to sell it any cheaper.

This summer marks the very first Beer Nation - and we’re kicking things off with our biggest beer sampling campaign yet. From pop-ups in high-footfall spots near BrewDog bars to surprise giveaways through Airbnb partners, workplaces and in HelloFresh boxes. It’s all for the love of beer - and just the beginning of a movement to get great beer into more hands, more often.
