SUSHISAMBA Edinburgh unveils its limited-edition summer take on the Japanese, Brazilian and Peruvian inspired Afternoon Tea, a unique experience with an unparalleled panoramic view of the Edinburgh skyline.
The new summer-inspired Champagne Afternoon Tea, incorporates local Scottish produce with SUSHISAMBA’s blend of Japanese, Brazilian and Peruvian culture and cuisine to create a unique, must-do experience this Summer. Located on the 10th floor of the five-star W Edinburgh, Scotland's highest Afternoon Tea is available for a limited-time (and is not one to be missed).
The seasonal experience will be available throughout July and August, served daily from 12.30pm to 5pm priced at £65 per person, or from £75 per person including a glass of Laurent-Perrier Brut Champagne.
Served on bespoke designed iron Afternoon Tea stands crafted especially for SUSHISAMBA Edinburgh by a local ironmonger, all elements of this elevated Summer Afternoon Tea are unique, from presentation to innovative flavour combinations. Guests can enjoy the experience in the comfort of the restaurant or on the restaurant’s outdoor terrace overlooking the city skyline.
The Afternoon Tea begins with an array of flavoursome savoury delights made with the finest Scottish and international produce. Including signature A5 Wagyu Tartar (cachaça, chipotle mayo, garlic miso, shiso, arenkha cavia), Octopus and Chorizo Anticucho (think aji panca and chives) and the best-selling Samba Edinburgh Roll (with whisky-cured salmon, avocado, oshinko, whisky orange gel).
While taking in the panoramic views of the city skyline from Calton Hill to Edinburgh Castle, guests enjoying SUSHISAMBA Edinburgh’s summer Afternoon Tea will be treated to refreshing sweet treats including a Black Cherry Choux (with vanilla cream and cherry veil), a Strawberry Lime Cheesecake (topped with citrus gelée, and yoghurt), or a delightful Coconut Onigiri (passionfruit, sesame sablé), all crafted in-house.
The offering is complete with a menu of Laurent-Perrier Champagne, a selection of fine teas (including vibrant hand-whisked matcha), and Honey & Tahitian Vanilla Scones served with fruity peach, apricot jam and clotted cream. There is also a full vegetarian menu available on request.
