The hotel’s new and exclusive Synchronised Therapy sessions offer a first-of-its-kind wellness experience in Scotland. In collaboration with Anna McLaughlin, a qualified psychotherapist and sound therapist, this immersive experience integrates sound therapy and reiki in a warm and comforting setting.
Taking place in the hotel’s pool, guests will enjoy the vibrational effects of sound waves, which significantly increase the therapeutic impact of the experience. The Synchronised Therapy sessions run every Saturday and Sunday throughout the month of May, priced at £39 per person, and are designed to provide deep relaxation, emotional release, and a sense of physical and mental balance.
Art & Aperitivo at the Edinburgh Marriott Hotel Holyrood
Event dates: Wednesday 14th of May, Wednesday 9th of July, Wednesday 13th of August, Wednesday 10th of September, Wednesday 7th of October.
In addition to the above, the Hotel’s new Art & Aperitivo experience, combines a relaxed, hands-on painting session with Italian-inspired hospitality. Led by Edinburgh-based artist Rachele Cavina, aspiring artists will explore creative expression through guided art activities inspired by Italy’s vibrant cultural heritage and the artistic legacy of Eduardo Paolozzi, the Edinburgh-born artist whose colourful style influenced the hotel’s vibrant new interior design.
The sessions blend art, socialising and a taste of a Paolozzi Spritz and a curated selection of cicchetti prepared by the hotel’s Head Chef. All painting materials are provided, and attendees will also receive a complimentary gift from Edinburgh Beer Factory – the independent brewery behind the Paolozzi lager and the hotel’s beer partner.
Running monthly from May to October, tickets start from £25 per person and include 20% off dinner at Arti & Alba, the hotel’s new restaurant.
Ronald Little, General Manager of Edinburgh Marriott Hotel Holyrood commented: “We’re proud to bring two unique and thoughtfully curated experiences to Edinburgh – one celebrating creativity through art and hospitality, the other offering a restorative approach to wellbeing through sound and movement. These new additions reflect our continued commitment to providing meaningful, high-quality experiences for both our guests and the local community.”
Whether you're looking to try something new, take time for yourself, or simply enjoy a different side of the city, the Edinburgh Marriott Hotel Holyrood welcomes you to experience a fresh way to connect with the Edinburgh community, and with yourself.
