May 15 2023 – For the first time ever, Cineworld will be live streaming a gaming event nationwide in cinemas. CS:GO at the BLAST.tv Paris Major Final will be shown in 31 cinemas across the UK for gaming fans to enjoy in their local Cineworld.
Fans who purchase tickets for the live premium viewing experience will also receive an included drink and snack of popcorn, nachos or hotdog - www.cineworld.co.uk/films/blasttv-paris-csgo-major-2023
The event will take place at the following locations: Edinburgh, Middlesbrough, Sheffield, Leeds, Castleford, Belfast, Ashford, Birmingham Broad Street, Didsbury, Speke, Wolverhampton, Birmingham NEC, Nottingham, Hemel Hempstead, Milton Keynes, Boldon, Ashford, Basildon, Greenwich (O2 Arena), Ipswich, Plymouth, Poole, Crawley, Loughborough, Cheltenham, Newport ,Glasgow Silverburn, Hull, Broughton, Northampton, Watford and York.
What is CS:GO?
CS:GO is short for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive – a multiplayer first-person shooter video game. The first game in the series, Counter-Strike 1.6, was officially released in 2000 and competitive play began soon after. CS:GO was released in 2012 and still boasts over 1m players per month and is one of the most popular video games for competitive esports worldwide.
What is the Paris Major?
The Paris Major is a live gaming competition which will see the world’s 24 best Counter-Strike teams compete for the converted Major trophy and the lion’s share of a $1,250,000 prize pool. The final is set to take place on Sunday, 21st May from 17:00 CEST.
What is Blast?
