AS EDINBURGH FRINGE RETURNS, ESCAPE THE CONVENTIONAL AND EMBRACE THE DELECTABLE WITH HENDRICK’S GIN

Art and culture enthusiasts rejoice at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Hendrick’s Gin, which is proudly distilled in Scotland with curious infusions of cucumber and rose, will be hosting three events to celebrate the occasion. So, whether you’re seeking a tranquil drinking experience, a theatrical bar takeover, or a flight on a cucumber blimp, Hendrick’s Gin promises to make your 2021 Fringe experience one to remember.

Escape to a Cucumber Lemonade Garden…

This summer, Hendrick’s Gin invites you to escape the conventional and embrace the delectable at Hendrick’s Cucumber Lemonade Garden at the five-star Glasshouse Hotel Edinburgh (2 Greenside Pl, Edinburgh EH1 3AA). Throughout the entire month of August and through to the first weekend in September , the charming garden is open to the public, between 4pm - 10pm Thursday - Sunday.

The enchanting rooftop terrace promises a refreshing oasis, as you leave behind the hustle and bustle of city life below and transcend to new heights above. Step into a magical summer garden and soak in the tranquil botanical surroundings. Whether you’re lounging on a deck chair or playing lawn games with friends, do so with a refreshing Hendrick’s Cucumber Lemonade in hand, and take in the breath-taking views of the city below.

Welcome aboard Hendrick’s Air…

Do you thirst for adventure? Does your mind roam the skies desperate to soar to newfound heights of curiosity and wonder? After the strangest of years, ground-bound, the urge to spread our wings and fly away has never been greater. Whilst travel may still be restricted don’t let that stop you from planning your explorations.

Welcome aboard Hendrick’s Air - the world’s first airline run by a gin! Hop aboard our Cucumber Blimp to Girvan - the home of Hendrick’s Gin. This theatrical performance blends together the worlds of reality and virtual where you, esteemed passenger, will enjoy a first-class flight experience unlike any other – with a refreshing tipple or two to savour.

For your boarding, head to the Scotsman Hotel’s in-house cinema (20 North Bridge, Edinburgh EH1 1TR). Open Tuesday 24th, Wednesday 25th and Friday the 27th of August, 15 tickets will be available to the public each night. Tickets are free to book from August 16th HERE

Gone in a Flash…

This is one interruption, you’ll be glad to have experienced. As you sit down in one of your favourite bars to share a refreshing drink with friends, be prepared to be surprised and amazed. For a fleeting but most memorable moment, your evening will be disrupted by a flash performance from the curious team at Hendrick’s Gin, here to bring a little theatre and peculiarity to your imbibing experience. What can one expect? In true Hendrick’s fashion, an abundance of over-the-top theatricality, a delectable Hendrick’s tipple, plus a little trinket to remember the night by.

Simply book a table around 7pm at one of the following bars: Hey Palu on Tuesday the 24th, Panda & Sons on Wednesday the 25th, and The Voodoo Rooms on Friday the 27th.
