Wedgwood the Restaurant’s Valentine’s Celebration Box
Wedgwood the Restaurant in Edinburgh, owned by husband and wife duo, Paul and Lisa Wedgwood has pulled out all the stops to create a Valentine’s feast. It ticks all the boxes when it comes to celebrating the most romantic day of the year at home. Paul has created a five and seven course tasting menu using the finest seasonal, locally sourced ingredients. Priced from £135 for two, the box comes with a delicious aperitif and can be delivered nationwide for free. There’s also a carefully curated wine selection to match the dishes that have been chosen from the Wedgwood wine cellar.

The Little Chartroom on the Prom, Portobello
For fine dining al fresco head to Portobello beach this Valentine’s Day where Great British Menu finalist Roberta-Hall McCarron has set up shop with The Little Chartroom on The Prom (whilst her award-winning Edinburgh restaurant The Little Chartroom is closed). They serve tasty BBQ treats and warming drinks – you can wrap up warm and sit on the beach or enjoy something on the go.
Picture this, idyllic beach views, Oysters to share and a Malt hot chocolate with toasted marshmallow to wash it all down (who said romance was dead?).
The Little Chartroom on the Prom is open Thursday – Sunday, between 11 – 4pm.
Balgove Larder Butcher’s Favourite Steak Pack
The award-winning butchery team at Balgove Larder have created a tempting selection of their favourite cuts of steak for the ultimate romantic dinner for two. The box has been put together by Head Butcher James Lothian and contains four different cuts: Flat Iron, Onglet, Ribeye and Fillet. This means that recipients are able to recreate Balgove’s iconic Steak Barn experience at home. There’s also the option of adding their wine and cheese selection: four of the finest Scottish cheeses, oatcakes and chutney with bottles of spicy red and buttery white wine. Best enjoyed on a grazing platter by an open fire with romantic tunes for ambience.
