The Edinburgh International Harp Festival (EIHF) is the UK’s premier harping event: an annual celebration and gathering of musical talents from the global harp community, and The Clarsach Society’s flagship event.
Since 1982, the EIHF has taken place annually in early April in Edinburgh, Scotland’s ‘Festival City’. Although 2020 broke the continuity, it didn’t break the Festival, and we went online with the first ever virtual EIHF. Delve into our rich forty-year history below.
A festival of forty years’ standing doesn’t just happen by itself, of course. Here you can also find out more about our parent body, The Clarsach Society, as well as the incredible people behind the EIHF: our sponsors, supporters, donors and volunteers – without whom the Festival simply could not happen.
