Ailsa Thompson and Luis Flores Carrubio are a violin and flute duo! They have both had a folk influence in their lives for a long time, Luis from video game music and Ailsa from having the Scottish Oral tradition always part of her life. In addition to the concert flute, Luis has played piccolo, alto flute, and Irish flute, and is currently learning the tin whistle, and Ailsa is learning cello. They both have a keen interest in composing and arranging, particularly orchestral music.
