Children’s Yoga & Neurographic Art – Supporting Emotional Balance & Psychosomatic Wellbeing

Many children today experience stress, emotional overload and tension in their bodies — even when they can’t yet put those feelings into words. This carefully designed session uses yoga postures as a gentle psychosomatic wellbeing tool, helping children release emotional tension held in the body and develop healthier ways to self-regulate.

Through calm, child-friendly yoga postures, mindful movement and breathing, children are supported to relax their nervous system, improve body awareness and feel more emotionally settled. These practices help children recognise how emotions are felt in the body and create a sense of safety, grounding and inner calm.

Neurographic art is then used as a creative, non-verbal way for children to express emotions and experiences that may be difficult to talk about. The combination of movement and art offers children a safe and nurturing space to process emotions, build confidence and restore emotional balance.

Why parents choose this session for their children:

Supports emotional regulation and psychosomatic wellbeing

Helps children release stress and tension stored in the body

Encourages calmness, focus and emotional resilience

Builds body awareness, confidence and emotional safety

Offers practical tools children can also use at home

This session is ideal for children who may feel anxious, overwhelmed, sensitive, or who simply benefit from extra emotional support and a calm, structured space to unwind and reconnect with themselves.

Age group: 5-9 years
No previous yoga or art experience needed
All materials included
Maximum 10 children per session to ensure individual attention
