Children’s Yoga & Neurographic Art – Supporting Emotional Balance & Psychosomatic Wellbeing
Many children today experience stress, emotional overload and tension in their bodies — even when they can’t yet put those feelings into words. This carefully designed session uses yoga postures as a gentle psychosomatic wellbeing tool, helping children release emotional tension held in the body and develop healthier ways to self-regulate.
Through calm, child-friendly yoga postures, mindful movement and breathing, children are supported to relax their nervous system, improve body awareness and feel more emotionally settled. These practices help children recognise how emotions are felt in the body and create a sense of safety, grounding and inner calm.
Neurographic art is then used as a creative, non-verbal way for children to express emotions and experiences that may be difficult to talk about. The combination of movement and art offers children a safe and nurturing space to process emotions, build confidence and restore emotional balance.
