Join us to support contemporary Ukrainian cinema and discover “The Editorial Office”, a darkly witty new film about truth, corruption, and identity in modern Ukraine.
In the wild steppes of southern Ukraine, a young nature researcher named Yura sets out to find an endangered groundhog, but instead witnesses a crime. Hoping to expose the truth, he approaches a local newspaper, only to learn no one is interested in justice. As a larger war looms, Yura’s worldview begins to unravel in a storm of fake news, rigged elections, and strange community rituals. On his journey, he must discover who he really is: an endangered species of a good man, or simply a fool.
Come along for the film and stay for a discussion with the director afterward.
A chance to watch something unique, thoughtful, and brilliantly timely - together with others who care.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
