Join Dovecot to celebrate five decades of colourful design and unique expression by the Swedish designer and textile artist Gudrun Sjödén. Founded in 1976 by Gudrun and Björn Sjödén, the company’s distinctive printed clothes have taken Swedish colour and style to the world. Today, Gudrun Sjödén is widely recognised as a pioneer of sustainable fashion and this talk by Sofie Ralin from Gudrun Sjödén, in conversation with Dovecot Director Celia Joicey, will provide a explore the behind-the-scenes glimpse into the workings of a fashion business that has grown from a small, single-storey store to one of Sweden’s largest fashion exporters.
The talk coincides with a fortnight Pop-Up Shop of Gudrun Sjödén's latest collection at Dovecot Studios.
Ticket includes entry to IKEA: Magical Patterns exhibition.
