Saturdays 4th, 11th & 18th Ocotber
In this class, you'll use vintage and reclaimed materials to make a unique and cosy vest! You'll dive into the art of upcycling old fabrics to make something new while crafting a piece of wearable art that reflects your unique style. Jen will guide you through the entire process, from choosing the materials to cutting out your vest and adding finishing touches.
Choose from a selection of thrifted quilts that can be supplied for you as an optional extra or bring your own materials. If you'd like to choose from our selection of quilts, please tick the box at checkout when booking, or you can decide to add this on later. The current selection available is pictured in the last photo along with the video.
It's also possible to quilt your own fabric for this class, however sewing at home would be needed in order to complete the vest in the timeframe. Please factor in roughly 2.5h of sewing at home after both weeks 1 & 2 if you would like to patchwork & quilt your own fabric! You are welcome to use fabric offcuts from the studio for this.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
