Curious about singing in a choir?
Come along to our Open Rehearsal on Wednesday 25 September at 7.30pm and see what Chapter House Singers is all about.
Whether you’re a seasoned choral singer or haven’t read music in years, you’re warmly invited to join us for an evening of beautiful music, friendly faces and zero pressure. We’ll be rehearsing in our usual venue (Walpole Hall) just bring your voice, a pencil and a willingness to give it a go.

Chapter House Singers is a very friendly SATB chamber choir of about 35 singers based in Edinburgh. We usually give two concerts a year and sing the Eucharist and Evensong services at St Mary’s Episcopal Cathedral on four to six Sundays during the year. We sing a wide range of music, from Renaissance to contemporary and we’re especially keen to welcome new Tenors and Basses (scholarships are available) though all voices are welcome to try us out.
No audition required on the night.
If you enjoy yourself, we’ll chat about next steps after the rehearsal.
