On Saturday 30 August, as the curtain falls on the Fringe, a new sound rises. Rumbalara launches its progressive house event bringing all-day energy and unforgettable music to The Outhouse, one of Edinburgh’s most beloved and musically rich venues, with a courtyard built for dancing beneath the sky. From 12PM to 10PM, you’re invited to dance, connect, and celebrate the city’s cultural heartbeat with a soundtrack powered by some of Scotland’s finest DJs.

Rumbalara showcases seven standout DJs from across Scotland’s vibrant music scene. Among them, Gowzer, whose sets are full of drive, depth and storytelling; Derek Martin of Musika, a long-respected presence in the capital’s soundscape; and Alan Dobson, known for selections that balance precision with emotion.

This inclusive, open-air celebration is completely free, and the perfect way to finish your summer — surrounded by friend, beats, and the best progressive house has to offer.
