For the first time in the UK Mighty oak sound system introduce Creativ Dubs outta Ghent, Belgium.
Born out of Ghent's vibrant sound system scene with a passion for conscious Roots Reggae music Seppe and Simon began expanding their record collection and playing out as young selectors in 2018. Inspired by having played on Guiding Ark sound system in the Netherlands and at HIM festival in Portugal the pair pushed on with building their sound system 2021.
Taking strong inspiration from the style of the Mighty Oak boxs but with their own unique flair and vibe the sound has gradually gathered more crew members and experience. In September 2024 in collaboration with Dubgarden, Creativ dubs invited Mighty Oak to play out in Ghent, Belgium. The session was a big success, almost exactly one year later we welcome Seppe, Simon and the crew to play in Edinburgh for a night of Roots and culture through the full Mighty Oak sound system. Also in full support.. Young Scottish Rasta MC .. Ya Samuel will be nicing up the microphone section ahead of his pilgrimage to Ethiopia, and of course the original Mighty Oak founders Mighty Ben & Jofis in full support on the night.
