Join us for a fun activity day exploring Jacobite stories and Bonnie Prince Charlie’s visit to the Palace.
Jacobite Activity Trail:
Pick up your own activity booklet and explore the Palace and piece together the story of the Jacobites discovering objects along the way.
Decorate a targe:
Targes, or shields, were used by many Jacobite solders to protect themselves in battle. Take inspiration from the targes in the collection and decorate your own.
Make a mini trinket box:
There are many Jacobite objects in the collection. Take inspiration from a trinket box on display and make and decorate your own mini box to take home.
Bonnie Prince Charlie finger puppet:
Discover some stories of Bonnie Prince Charlie’s time at the Palace and make your own finger puppet of the prince.
