The light must burn bright. Never again will the city return to the darkness of Before.
Over a century after the lights went out, the citizens of Goliath have never known darkness. Generators keep the sky illuminated and most are happy to play their part. However, photos of Before reveal an unfamiliar world and Yewsby dreams of seeing stars – whatever they were.
When a power cut hits and the lights of the city still remain on, Yewsby and their friends eagerly investigate, but find themselves entangled in a conspiracy of mammoth proportions.
Who really provides the power? Who does the city really depend upon? And what will it take to bring the truth into the light?
A post-apocalyptic political play questioning class, entitlement and sacrifice.
The Stars and After is part of the Traverse's £1 Tickets Project.
