Join Assistant Curator of Paintings Dr Amy Parrish on 24th April to delve into some of the extraordinary works of Italian Baroque painting contained within the Royal Collection.
About Drama, Dynamism and Detail: Italian Baroque Paintings in the Royal Collection
Inspired by the recently rediscovered painting by Artemisia Gentileschi, Susanna and the Elders, which is currently on display at the Palace of Holyroodhouse, this lecture will explore the intricate detailing and dramatic scenes depicted in artwork of this period.
Please note that Dr Amy Parrish will be joining us remotely for this lecture.
Please note this event takes place in the Abbey Strand Centre and this ticket does not include access to the State Apartments.
