Edinburgh, Lothian and Borders police historical society (ELBPHS) are holding four family friendly drop in events where members of the public can step inside a historic policebox, speak to retired officers about policing in the past and even try some of the equipment that would have been used by the officers.
Wednesday 19th March 10-2 with the theme of women in policing.
Wednesday 30th April 10-2 – The Special Constabulary.
Wednesday 14th May 10-2 – The Memorial Roll of Edinburgh City police.
Wednesday 18th June 10-2 – The bombing of Edinburgh and Leith during WW2.
Booking is not required. Drop in, free and suitable for all ages.
